Light Yagami gets my vote for All-Time Bastard

<< < (21/23) > >>

Carnivus:
Light is pretty cool, strong, but he couldn't be invincible. The Death Note was almost flawless, yet the mistakes were user-made.So even if he's a genius,a crime-fighter and a strategist,he must have a weakness.
In terms of comparation,I put Light near Lelouch, yet I think Lelouch is far more intelligent. As for strategy,I believe he's equal,or not too high from Light. The thing that separtes them,is however, humanity.Lelouch's purpose was to create a better world for his sister, while Light's purpose was to create a fair world for him.Lelouch's first mistake was (click to show/hide)to let Villetta live in the first episode. As for Light, his first mistake was to give some heads-up for the investigation team.
Both Lelouch and Light are great characters,of that 10% that know the world.Lelouch's action scope far-surpasses Light's in all terms, but so do the mistakes, which cost millions of lives.

Anderas:
Griffith gets my vote as well.

The Berserk anime doesn't really show it in such a dramatic way as the manga did;
I mean, seriously, the guy banged Caska in like five different positions (honestly don't remember off the top of
my head how many, but I'm just throwing a number out there) in front of Guts, staring at him the WHOLE time
as if trying to tell him "I hope you're watching, and I hope it hurts worse than cutting your own arm off."

And then to top it off, Griffith busts a load in her and drops her on the ground.

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but that deserves something far superior to bastardness
than any of these other would-be bastards of anime. You don't see Light Yagami raping someone's
girlfriend in front of them before killing them with a Death Note.

+10 to Griffith.

He also sells his body to some creepy old guy and then uses his attractiveness as a strategy to obliterate the guy later. Otherwise, he's mostly human until Guts leaves him, then he rapes his king's daughter... but he gets bad karma for it and pays... then he sacrifices every friend he has for ultimate power, THEN he rapes Casca in front of his friend. He's a number one bastard.

Path:
I find it amusing that anyone would even compare Griffith and Light; Light is a child, a teenage megalomaniac narcissist, whereas Griffith is not only a man, but a charismatic and ruthless incarnation of pure ambition; even his apparent weaknesses only serve to strengthen the character itself.
