Light Yagami gets my vote for All-Time Bastard

<< < (2/23) > >>

Nikran:
He don't get my vote. I dislike Light, L and Deathnote. He reckons he's so clever, stupidest (the list is big) thing he ever did was reveal to L the deathnote itself. As long as L didn't know about it, he was pretty much taking shots in the dark about pretty much EVERYTHING. Even his suspicien about light was based on no tangable proof. Oh and the tennis match L and Light had where one was thinking 'Your Kira,' and the other was like 'This tennis match can't prove im Kira,' was ultimately retarded.

@Xzanith

He's 99% bastard. Also a loser since he don't have any friends and a misrable one at that since before the deathnote showed up he was as morbid as hell. I guess everything about him boils down to massive psychological issues...

fohfoh:
Uh huh.... and you're smarter than Light because....

Light was smart
L was smart
Melo was semi-smart
Near was like a retard with a blindfold in the dark shooting a shotgun at light while facing the wrong direction. He only hit light in the end because the writer decided to mess with his weapon and give him heat seeking missles (metaphorically)

Kayberry:
Near had spoilers. Knowing what was going to happen, he could easily deduce what was going to happen, and therefore manipulate the way things were going to happen in the way he wanted to in order to get those things to happen in the manner in which he anticipated them to happen in.

"The script says that I'm supposed to turn the television on, see someone rallying support of Kira, and then jump to the conclusion that they are working with Kira. Okay. And it says I should also play with my Death Note collectible figurines while doing this. Okay."

Light is smart academicly, and yet he's stupid because...

1. He gave the people looking for him a trail to follow. Like wtf? He was pretty much the invincable, uncaptureable killer. If he were't a sadistic, egomaniac who couldn't help but kill anyone looking for him, they'd never have any leads to work with. If he was so smart he'd work out even if they knew Kira was a student, even if they invistigated every student in the region, the odds of being caught would still be next to nill. His killing L's invistigators did exactly the opposite and he should have known that would be the case.

2.He decided the best course of action was to reveal the deathnote. Oh yes, smart move, get rid of your problems by giving them the biggest bit of info that revealed everything to them and puts u at a disadvantage. He thinks inside such a small box, eg:- 'I need L's name to kill him!!!' Light had the names of all the people who hang around L 24/7. Why not use all of them to go suicide bomber on him? Once they blew themselfs up and L with them all problems solved.

nstgc:
Light was a kick ass genious! He did exactly what he said he would do -- make the world safe and himself a god. His only real flaw was that he arrogant. I will admit he was a twisted dick, but he wasn't a sadist.

Light is one of my favorite anime characters of all time (he essential is a smart version of me...who is interest in law). He doesn't do "evil" things for kicks, he does "evil" things because its what must be done. I do think he should have had Misa killed (I hated that bitch). So long as you keep him away from that 'tard (Melo) and uber'tard (Nark) Light was as close to perfect as you can get.

Yep, pretty much. He may, however, have been playing with blocks, legos, army men, or licking the walls.

The things they had Nark do to show that he was smart only made he look more like a retard 12 year old in a 20 year olds body.
