Light Yagami gets my vote for All-Time Bastard

I wouldnt really call Griffith a super evil bastard... a bastard yes... but not a super evil one.

I put my vote in there, he is one of my favorite anime characters, and a completely evil fuck. The thing is that you go from sympathizing with him early on, and gradually see him lose his mind, up until towards the end when you realize, "Oh shit this guy is fucked up".

Yes, Light can be seen walking into the darkness deeper and deeper on his own accord. (driven by the sense of survival ofc)
But Griffith is obviously misled/led by the creatures that stem from the "fate" or w/e term that I forget.

I don't think I've ever seen any character in anime or movies as cold-hearted and black-souled as Light Yagami in this series. Not even Michael Corleone at the end of 'The Godfather' could beat this. Maybe it was because he was portrayed more favorably at the beginning.

lol ya i agree with some that he is a freakin genious but he is the biggest A$$ ever!!!
