Bamboo Blade

Finished watching this a couple of days ago. Quite brilliant actually, you should check it out if you're even remotely intrested in unless you hate slice of life anime with a passion.

Anyway. Does anyone know if there's a second season coming? It was sort of implied in the final scene of the last episode, but I couldn't find anything about it on the internet. Of course, it might be a bit early, seeing as it finished airing a scant 4 months ago, but still.

Leaving the ending like that, and having the series this popular, do you really think the creators will really leave this blank? I doubt it ... Second Season should be announced sooner or later, I don't want an OVA or a Movie. I want another 24 episode season to enjoy !!!

It's happened before... Fruits Basket, Stellvia, Narue no Sekai...

=( Don't remind me of those series.. All that you have mentioned are a favorite of mine. But Bamboo Blade left that new character out there at the very end. I really want a second season, like right now!

-grunts- mysterious, blue eyes and long purple hair ftw... 4 years and still no sequel... "just" the "B-Manga" set of the storyline...

Anyway, back to the topic, this is the first time i hear of this anime but i might check it out.

LOL... yeah I played D2... and GW1 & 2 as a nec ^^. I still do. Guild Wars is an addiction to me. Just behind anime.

I just completely enjoyed Bamboo Blade and really would love to see the main storyline continue

It was a nice anime. It really could have used that second season to finish it's main storyline. It had a conclusion, but not the one viewers were hoping for.

I just finished watching this, and I have to say... I was blown away by how good it is. I really love shows about games or sports like this one (Hikaru no Go and Saki are among my favourite anime), and comedy is also one of my favourite genres. This show combined the two so perfectly, it was great. It's a real shame there was never a second season. Hopefully the manga and game are good though - I'll have to check them out if I can.
