Favorite Mario Kart

Just wondering what game holds your favorite rainbow road.

I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart DS. which I will declare as my personal favorite.

I've really only played two Mario Karts, but I'd have to say Mario Kart 64. That game rocked!

Mario Kart 64 owns all. 

BTW, anyone who says Double Dash loses my respect.  That game sucked ass IMO.

I have always enjoyed the Mario Kart games but the one on Wii is the first one that I have really liked a lot. So that has to be my favorite.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit  is was just perfect.
Mario Kart DS was good too but the snaking made it glimped

wow, I'm surprised that the votes are so evenly spread.

I voted DS with 64 being a very close second. Snaking is only an issue for online play so it didn't bother me much. Otherwise the game had everything 64 had, plus updates and all the great tracks from the 4 previous games.

my personal order would go: DS, 64, SNES, Arcade, GBA, Double Dash, Wii

Wii felt more like a step forward, a step to the side, then a step and a half backwards.

i like the online on the wii mario kart but they should have made the items random . Now it is to fix on what you get. first always gets banana and last a blue shell or bullet .

I liked rainbow road on 64, it was psycadelic in a cool way. I hate it in the newer games tho.

I also liked Rainbow Road on the 64.....probably because it's a hell of a lot easier than the other ones.
