are these the ONLY people who did DVD rips? if no other group has done it before im surprised no ones just mixed better subs with these guys or someone elses dvd rips =( I'll see if anyone else knows of dvd versions before i give these a go, the 'British' english translation emphasis on teh page and torrent link on tosho have me worried
Nothing like British slang or anything, only real change is the dropping of honorifics, which I agree is annoying, but not that big of a deal (you can hear them say it anyway, and if you've watched enough anime, you'll have no trouble placing them). And yes, they are the only group who has done DVD rips. It's a 2.45GB download, and very high quality.
By British English, they only mean "proper" English, and I think they spell stuff like "armor" and "color" with u's (i.e., armour and colour). Other than that and the dropping of the honorifics, it's a great translation.

I actually liked the ending, they killed a big baddie and it still leaves room for another season, which I believe is in the planning stages right now. I really like that Saito and Louise are finally coming to terms with their relationship, though I have to ask, light novel readers, does he finally get to fuck her or what? He's been trying for like two seasons now, poor guy.
