Anyone know if Ayu is going to pick this up? They did the first two seasons very nicely...

The first episode was subtitled pretty well, with few grammatical or spelling errors.  I can't comment on the translation since I only know a few hundred words in Japanese.  If there were errors, they weren't obvious to me.

Sunday, I'd bet the minori release will be out by Tuesday, I know that's when I downloaded it this week.

Ayu won't do it, because SS (actually, kunio, their translator) doesn't want to do it.

I watched Minori-Osu!'s sub today, and it was passable. Just a few points I would have changed in the script, as mentioned in the AniDB comments ('Gandalfr' instead of 'a Gandalfr'), and a few missing capitalisations, but a reasonable release.

I didn't say it did more than the first, I just said that it took it to a different point than the first left it at.  ;)
I really don't see ZnK as an "ecchi comedy". To me ecchi comedies are very poor storylines which attract viewers through fanservice alone (ie Girls Bravo and countless others). ZnK actually has enough good storyline and minimal fanservice to keep it out of the category in my books.

this was my impression from season 2

Lousie beats saito to a pulp then they go to school, lousie beats saito to a pulp, saito goes to talk to maid, Lousie beats saito to a pulperious pulp, saito outwits Lousie, she then proceeds to beat saito for 10 hours to a pulp, saito comes from the brink of death by a smexy elf, Lousie proceeds to beat the living daybreak out of saito till he is nothing but pulp.
Then out of no where saito says that he is madly in love with lousie........must have been all that Beating

You missed some things, but, then again, I think that was a pretty good summary... sadly... >_>

Well, we all know Saito is a masochist....cause there's no other reason for him to be with that crazy bitch.

I watched it. Was alright. Eye cancer inducing only at one point, the rest is just 'acceptable'.

I guess Ayu just doesn't play the quid pro quo game as well as Eclipse does, as Static Subs and Eclipse are now doing it joint

The linear nature of your Euclidean geometry both confounds and befuddles me.

I assume one of Eclipse's translators is doing it, since kunio picked up Slayers instead on SS' part. He is SS' only active translator. Ayu has only 1 active TL, and he's occupied on Minami-ke.

... but HELL YES! A decent sub to watch \o/

As long as they're not as horrible as Shoku-dan ... I've seen their sub for Vampire Knight and it was awful ... Grammer sucked and definitely did not go with what the characters were saying, alot of timing was off and typos ... So I'm waiting for an official release from Boxtorrents to download from. Hope Zero no Tsukaima gets subbed well! =)
