Well, to her credit she is a half-elf so I'm not expecting full-blown elf features anyway.
The way I see it, she's an excuse for me to get to hear Mamiko Noto's lovely shy voice in ZnT :)

That is true.

I would like to add that I as well likes Louise, and I belive I share Proin's and nstgc's tastes in this matter.
About Siesta: I also do not like her, but I am aware of the fact that without her there would be no love polygon. I felt the same thing about Yoshida Kazumi, I guess I just don't like the rivals. Allthough they are certanly needed.
