I got Madagascar once, but then Indonesia isolated itself :\

I find I tend to get better scores if I play fast, rather than play for completion.

Yeah... it's really hard to infect everywhere. Even with zero visibility... they always build vaccines before you infect other areas. Even if you don't kill anyone

Trick is to make it like sneezing and coughing with full resistance. Let it run its course for a while because as far as I've seen it takes no penalty for the time you take to kill earth.

Vaccine success seems to be a diceroll as far as I've observed. Once they start making the vaccine, spread yourself like mad, and pump infectivity as high as you can. Assuming you already had significant world presence before vaccine development, hospitals should start going down soon enough, which will delay the arrival of the vaccine.

Just finished Pandemic 2 for the second time.

For some odd reason, when I name my virus Getter Rays, it seems to bring good luck.

I lol'd through the game when...

"The vaccine worked as well as the humans hoped it would be! You cannot infect anyone new."
World healthy population: 0

And then Getter Rays kills everyone. ~~The only hope for humanity, is Getter Robo...~~

FUCK MADAGASCAR! I got the whole world except madagascar 4 times. and then I started in madagascar, and never left the country, you know why, not a single ship ever left madagascar. The port is perfectly open, the entire population was infected, but I sat there watching it for 10 minutes. Nothing ever left madagascar. FUCK YOU BUNCH OF ISLANDERS!!!

I've gotten Madagascar a bunch of times, but every time, cuba, greenland, or NZ gets lucky.

IF you start on madagascar. You don't want to pump anything that makes it grow faster related. You literally have to leave it on the basic setup, pump all the other resistances and wait for an infection to occur. (Usually when you hit between 50k-300k infected with no extra infectious pumping. After that it's easy. You just wanna pump increased infection after you get off the island. (You usually get China or indonesia after madagascar)

Very nice. Wish I knew what techniques to use to get a higher score, I'm very inconsistent. One round I'll get 700k, the next 500k.
