Jigoku Shoujo Series (NO spoilers)

Great anime!
Seen season 1 and 2 and I've loved every second off the show.
Though the first half off season 1 might have been a bother as they where episodic and no real story was there but just as you started to bore you got the story there in the end and then you where hooked!
Can't wait for season 3.

When I first heard the initial idea behind the whole series, I laughed and said I am not watching that because that is just plan retarded. The problem was, the official artwork was awesome so I ended up watching it, and buying the DVDs.
Having seen the first two seasons, my view is that the first part of Season One is dumb. It felt like the writes had no idea where the show was going and had to do something. Then it finally picked up. Season Two was great, except for the occasional episode that seems pointless (seems most anime have one or two of these). So with a little luck Season Three was be great, can't wait until October and the first subs.

Yeah that was why I wrote what I did. (click to show/hide) they show the scene of the girl receiving the text from Jigoku Shoujo after she was supposedly dead right before the episode ends. This is there way of showing you she wasnt really dead

(click to show/hide)Ai didn't die, as she was dead from the beginning. All that happened was she was freed from her contact that bound her to that job. But it is already confirmed that Ai will be back and better then ever, despite the fact that Kikuri is rumored to be the new Hell Girl.
EDIT: Has anyone watched the Live Action show? From a trailer I saw, it looks truly horrible.
EDIT2: I also hear that Mitsuganae will be the last season. Maybe one or two OVAs will show up.

Spoilers for Mitsuganae: (click to show/hide)The main characters Ren, Onna, and Wanyudo all work at a school. Ai Enma will be Hell Girl yet again. Kikuri is free from her bond in Futakomori and will be different. New characters: Yamawaro a new helper to Ai. Mikage is a student at the school where plot is set, and she is deeply involved in the Hell Correspondence.

According to the wiki shinsen and some anon speed sub group said they are doing subs for this. So chances are it wont be that long before we see some.
