Druaga no Tou: the Aegis/Sword of Uruk
« on: September 17, 2008, 05:04:18 AM »
Just begun to watch this, into the first 3 minutes or so and I deeply love the animation. I'm all about graphics, animation, sound and characters ... storyline and enviorment comes in second place. So what's the rating on this out of 5 star scale? No spoilers please ~

im watchin this series now myself, im at ep 10(havent seen the behinde the scenes first ep yet tho, i didnt realise it acctually was another twist of the first ep, i thought it was a behinde the scenes of the series, ill problably watch it when iv finished the show later today) and i gotta say its a pretty good series, i love parody shows and this one has what it takes to get you hooked, it dont feel it has any flaws when it comes to cars, graph and so on, but then again i dont feel its all that groundbreaking so ill give it a 4- couse its defenetly worth your time if you wanna laugh

i was watching it as it was released on crunchyroll. It had a first episode very similar to Haruhi, in that it foreshadows everything that will happen in the rest of the series in a comedic way. But it wasn't bad I guess. A cliffhanger ending....

They've come up with some wicked episodes, I just finished ep. 8 and it is great! I really like this anime, it's my type. I hope Season 2 gets released soon.

's good. The characters are nicely done, animation stays the same. Too bad it doesn't have a closure at the end. Gotta wait for the second season.

Just finished Druaga no To: The Aegis of Uruk ... this was such a kick ass anime! It reminds me of WoW days when I used to Main tank and Off tank bosses. This has everything. I can't wait for the second seasons ~ I so can't wait ... What's gonna happen? Who's the new faces? Argh ... So many un-answered questions! Come on time, hurry up!

So now Sword is complete by a group, and O-L is taking a bit longer than ... usual. Well, they are a bit slow but they're pretty good. Other than O-L, who else is good out there?

I'd give the first season about a 5.5/10. (Watched it from Hikimori, who had the best SD version out there. But it looks like they've dropped S2 :() It was good when it was in comedy/parody mood, but not so much when things got serious. Oh, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night called, it wants its mid-point plot twist back.

@Tatsu: I've gone with Nova-Furukawa for the first season, and then Nova-Furukawa/Nova for the second season so far.

I don't know much about this one.  I have seen it tossed about here and there...But I don't know anybody who has watched it.  Is it worth 5 hours of my life to watch it and rate it?
I have typed these words and you have been forced to read them.  Now you can go cry in the corner if you like :)

Recently finished all of this series my vote can be around 6.5/10 still its good to watch series...

Some characters are very nice like fatina just the ending was a bit ermmm unnecessary for me...

Wish they continued the funny parts like episode one which made me laugh a lot

......... ._.;; ................ Well, .... Nuke and O-L are the best subbers out there for now. I know O-L just finished it and put up three version of it on TT. Who've seen the series? This series just reminds me so much of WoW and other MMO's. I love tanking ... love love tanking. I've been a tank for ages. >_< So yes, the main character is FREAKING AWESOME!

Well I liked the series enough to watch sword of uruk streamed via myspace.tv. *shudders* and at least 3 of the eps were so badly synced I couldn't watch with sound on.  I still give it a 4/5, probably more if I watched it in quality.  Although the first season was better IMO.

I just started the second season and just finished the second episode. I knew Fatina is a lovely Tsundere and finally she's more of a main character in the 2nd season. -requests pictures of her-. If I have to pick between Fatina and Mio .......... =[ ... Fatina pwns her.
