Intentional double post, for once
Gary Moore -
Parisienne Walkways,
Still got the Blues is gone. Wherever you're now I hope you're jamming with Phil.
I don't like everything he did, but I do appreciate the artist that put his heart into music. Just like John Lee Hooker used to say, 'when I close my eyes, I see no skin colour ... only music'. One of the very few, Duane Allman included, to prove that skin colour is irrelevant.
I'm getting old, musicians I admired used to retire/die before I could witness them.
PS : any guitar freak around here, check what out what Bill Berends does with a 335 - SG or Firebird. The dude rocks, and oughta be known. I'd love to drum behing a guy like that, not to mention that Jens Johansson does his best keywork ever on the Mastermind records.
