Decoy - Sybreed

Industrial Metal, ala Fear Factory. (Albeit, their latter albums)
Here unfolds the truth of all that is alive, and here we wash away what was proclaimed.
Hail Awakening, forever lead us in the urge to be alive.
We know you will.

Johnny Cash - Hurt

Not my stuff, but so much better than NIN's original. He took a song full of depression and self-pity and turned it into a dying man's reflexion about his own fleeting liife. Great video too, showing how past greatness turns into derelection and finally decay.

I guess that draws the line between singing someone else's song and doing your own interpretation.

Completely agree. I have been listening to this song 5 times a day since a week. It's a hundred times better than that depressing NIN version.

Don't forget to mention how great the video is. The way June Carter looks at him at 2:37 just tears my heart out, it just screams out 'I love you so, but you'll soon be gone and there's nothing I can do about it'. Well, at that time she didn't know she would be the first one to go.

Agreed on the Cash > Reznor for Hurt, but I'm a pretty big fan of both.
