Terje Rypdal - Melodic Warrior (album)

Norwegian jazz guitarist who is known for using a very un-jazz like distorted guitar tone. This album, however is basically modern classical. Not a genre I typically listen to much of, but I was intrigued by the album description and gave it a try. Very interesting and it all works together quite well (even when he throws in a whammy bar dive). His style of playing reminds me of David Gilmore.
