Hmm, tough one to fix I think but I'll have a look at it. Has to do with the highlighting. It tries to highlighting the highlighting code ~_~

Not sure if this helps, but if searching for things lie a tale, etc, add an underscore between, like this;
a_tale ; produces only results which have  a+spacebetween+tale, compare that to a search without the underscore...
Similarly it works the same way other way, try classic_t (note it doesn't note the "," but takes the letter from the next keyword...)

With this, even though mainly for limiting/getting more relevant search results, it helps alleviate troubles with titles with single letters in most cases, and here also removes the 'highlighting' issue... (it's still not gonna help if the title consists purely of one character, like X  :-\...)

Not sure if this can be included in the coding itself, like automatically parsing in the undescore, or whatever effect it's based on, when the search includes single letter characters...

Basically it's simple, having an underscore between words causes the search to look for that specific string :)
Normal search with normal words lists all results which contain all of the searchterms; warrior demon and demon warrior both give Demon Warrior Koji, while with underscore only demon_warrior would yield any results...
It can also be used to omit letters from within words; cl__sic yields much the same results as classic except the underscores can be replaced by any letters, however this lacks any practical use, perhaps if there's spelling differences...

It can also fail, like with ef a ; as there's more than one space between them, you need two or three underscores to get correct results, and both to get all (ef__a ef___a would work, it's possible to include two or more specific strings into search...)

using "%" instead of "_" does not require knowing the number of characters in between.

I'm ALWAYS nice. Well... except when I'm ebil. But I'm only ebil when I'm bored. Although... I'm bored all the time. Not that that's a problem is it? ;)

i'm not sure whether it is an error or intentional behavior , i hope someone can clarify this for me:
it seems as if links inside the (description) iframe that link to browse.php somehow get redirected to the mainpage for an unknown reason.
the links are fine, if i copy them and paste them in the address bar they show up as expected.
an example of this behavior can be seen here when you try to click on the "Code Geass S02" or "Code Geass Soundtracks" link.

I really hope this can be fixed/changed because otherwise specific torrents would be missing either a lot of relations or be completely cluttered with them. just on this code geass torrent the related links would be blown up from 5 to 12 links. if don't even want to think how a macross offer with a complete related list would look like (27 torrents currently on box)

at some point those links where definitely working (not specifically those links, as the torrent wasn't there then), but i can't say exactly when the change occurred.

Don't know if this is an error or update, but my user name only appears in a few "Peerlist" of torrents that I'm actively seeding.

I'm not sure what the exact reason is, but it's quite normal. I also almost never see my user name (btw, it never shows all the seeders for the same reason I guess) in the peerlist, but since the stats get updated I'm not that worried about it.

I'm not sure if this is an error or not but when I create a link that searches for related torrents, the link is redirected to the main page. The error can be seen in my latest offer. The link works in the sandbox, however.

I'm encountering the same error on all torrents that implements similar schemes for listing related anime although I'm not sure if everyone does encounter the error (duki says it works fine on his end)

I tested this using Firefox 3.0.10 as well as Chrome 2.0.172.28

Thank you for reading.

Like he said, but for me the error only occurred on the offers page, but on a similar template that was accepted I got redirected to the browse like it should.

hehe, thats the same problem i was (trying) to point out 3 posts above yours - seems i baked it into to much babble.
i tested it under 3 different OSes (Vista, Win7, Leopard) and 2 different browsers (IE, Firefox) - it's the same everywhere.

Is this the "Bonus torrents day"? I can see torrents with 71 seeders and 1 leecher marked as a bonus torrent. >.>

Also, I experienced some heavy lag spikes all over the tracker and forum since this morning. But for 1 hour or so it has stabilized. As a side-note, right now I'm seeding 29 torrents and only getting ~1,8-2KB/s upload in total. The problem may be at the end of my line though.
I'm making 10/10 bonus points atm... http://www.boxtorrents.com/user/691341/ailailou.html O.o

Yeah, it was like the daily database update, but then for several hours in stead of 20 minutes.
Anyway, it's probably due to the tracker having gone offline and all torrents losing most of their seeds/leechers, will restore itself.
Regarding bonus torrents: since about a week (max., could be less) I notice that all offers get that icon also after some time?

i reported this error some time ago, it is either not that easy to fix, not reproducable, or got simply overlooked :P
something seems to be wrong with the "sticking" of the category check-boxes on the browse page.
if i (for example) try searching for code geass soundtracks, uncheck every check-box sans Soundtrack, enter "code geass" in the searchfield and hit search the check-boxes resets to my profile default and every torrent containing "code geass" is displayed.

this change happened only recently and it looks like a parameter got lost somehow.

currently i'm getting redirected to
Code: [Select]
http://www.boxtorrents.com/browse.php?only=0&description=0&hentai=1&incomplete=1&lossless=1&hd=1&multiaudio=1&bonus=1&c3=1&q=code+geass
while it previously was
Code: [Select]
http://www.boxtorrents.com/browse.php?only=0&description=0&reorder=1&hentai=1&incomplete=1&lossless=1&hd=1&multiaudio=1&bonus=1&c3=1&q=code+geass
notice the missing &reorder=1 - if i add it manually it is displaying the search results as intended.

i tried deleting my cookies, no change.

yea i am unable to login to the site

There was an announcement about this.. I'm not sure where it went.

Read this and this. If none of those fix your problem (most likely clearing cookies will work), feel free to come into the #box-support iRC channel for more help or here.

I noticed the following with three recent offers: when constructing your offer you're given the ability to fill in a link to, f.e., AniDB. I always use that option. I do not always check that afterwards to be honest, but with my last three offers I did and the link was not there. I had to edit the torrent info after which it did show in the info part below the description. Anyone else had this issue?

I suggest reporting errors that you find that happened because of the move here.

The blog login is not working properly
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Call to undefined function set_screen_options() in /home/sites/blog.bakabt.me/web/wp-admin/admin.php on line 45
The links from the wiki and the blog back to the tracker and forum are still leading to boxtorrents.

And a hell of a lot more links I guess - I'll report what else I find here as well...
