Tetsuwan Birdy Decode S1 + S2

Just finished this series. Left me speechless. Love the animation, it did lack a bit of coloring but you can't deny how awesome the action was! I'm looking forward to the next season. I'm glad they brought this series back to life. Birdy <33 ~~

There's the 4 OVA episodes from years ago. I'll watch it some other time. I want something new.

still watching the new one, but if i recall the ova was pretty much the same, this is just a more pretier remake.

I liked this show until the last couple of episodes.  (click to show/hide)The characters acted as though their school's kendo team got slaughtered, rather than half of Tokyo.  Is the shonen demographic really viewed as that emotionally disconnected?  Or is an issue of producers believing that the target audience will only care about the personal concerns of the character with whom they are supposed to identify?

Yea I hate those too. But I hated them enough to actually drop the hate. I personally don't care anymore as long as the main and side characters are included and not left out or scrapped off like nothing.

Edit -- I forgot to mention, I'm dating Birdy. CC was a bit rough with me in most nights, she wanted it nasty! *evil laughs*

... Well, I just watched it. It was a pretty good show, but I found it kinda disappointing... especially how it didn't seem to explore the gender-bender issue at all. I mean, come on... he's in the bath... as an extremely hot chick... and he doesn't take a peek at all (or doesn't seem to care?). I mean, come on, that's just gay! >=|

That's... INCREDIBLY GAY. It's so gay, I can't see how the fuck he would even be able to like a girl.

The action was pretty good, though, and the storyline was decent (though it seemed to skip around a lot; I guess that's a staple in most thirteen episode shows, though).
