Havoc10K:
If l play Xenosaga episode 3 one hour daily l wil lstill finish it before ep 8 comes out ... total waste of funds and time, by the time it will be finished l wil lhave grown up kids l think, slow release for dramatic effect is good but not when it's 6-8 monts period.

Bubbly:
Well, the series will still be epic no matter how long it takes to complete. I, for one, will see it through to the last ep and like it.... I'll just keep watching crazy stuff like One Piece to fill the time in between.

Crazy Pyro:
I'll assure you that what happens with Alucard is very well done, he does go missing for ages though, volumes 7 and 8 are very heavily focused on Ceras.

Havoc10K:
well Ceras is generally the main character of this title to me, it doesn't go through Alucards toughts and actions but about her being a vampire now and her struggle, her learning stuff, her becoming the different being, her rejecting the tought she needs to drink blood, Alucard on the other hand is developed, what ever action he makes he tried to teach Ceras that she needs to become stronger, it's why he insisted on her drinking his blood to free herself.

havent read all of the manga cuz by the time it was TLed it took quite a long time so what l'm saying is based on the original anime.

The anime has little to do with the canon plot, mind (amusingly, the trailer contained Millennium references that never appeared in the series at all). Hellsing is all about Alucard though (despite the lame anagram); everything about him is awesome, from his sense of fashion (cravat, riding boots and fedora? Yes!) to his personality (cruel and cunning, yet resolute and consequent). While he comes dangerously close to being an archetypical anti-hero at times, he's nevertheless a great character and a reminder that vampires don't need to be tragic, misunderstood or generally gloomy entities.
