Hellsing Ultimate

There are so many Vampire and Werewolf lores out there, that I can say for sure that some suck and others are great. My personal favourite vampire lore is from Vampire the Masquerade P&P game. Have yet to see a richer and more intruiging lore. Also World of Darkness has awesome werewolf lore.
Too bad that anime.... or should I say Japanese have nothing spectacular to offer in that field.

Do they have bloodsuckers at all? Or did their legends mixed with western ones about vampire and creating... modern legends?
It is curious to see that you say that Alucard is OP when in the last few OVA he actually had no screentime other than maybe sitting on his battleship grinning.

Someone mentioned to me that there was only going to be 8 OVa's. Then someone told me 10. How many OVA's are they making for Hellsing? I am really curious.
