There is nothing wrong in you copying the data you allready have downloaded on that pc to youre own and then start seeding from youre own pc, BUT you have to stop/remove the torrent(s) on the first pc before starting it/them on youre own pc.

The tracker problems are if you are running the same torrent on more then 1 pc at the same time. As long as the torrent is only running on 1 pc at any giving time there shouldnt be any problems afaik.

I had thought about that but the language made it seem like at no time from two different computers and Jarudin's reply above says the same thing.

Lonewolf5460:
Your wording is a little confusing but what I am assuming you meant is that the files that were on the old pc are now on your own computer. I think you misunderstood the rule, you can seed torrent A from one computer at a time which is the rule. That does not mean you cant take torrent A from computer A and now seed torrent A from computer B. As long as both computer A and B are not seeding torrent A at the same time your fine.

If that is what you meant, then just re download the torrent file and continue seeding on your computer that you reconnected to the internet.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean, I'll give it a shot. I only want to see from one PC at a time, namely mine.

I thought you had space problems Hollow..

About the tracker.
Each account have a password wich identify you as a user. Go to http://www.boxtorrents.com, click "Profile" and look beside "Torrent pass". This is youre password for accessing the tracker. I guess this is what will "confuse" the tracker if 2 computers tries to use the same password. (someone correct me if iam wrong)

If youre gonna transfer all ure files to 1 computer check the torrents before you seed, under "trackers" makes sure you have the same password.
If you have a different one you dont get upload credit, and iam not sure if its allowed ether.

HollowLord:
Well, I just downloaded Ghost in the Shell SAC season one the other night directly on to my computer and started seeding and it gave me credit so I guess it's working ok. My account was originally registered on MY computer and I had downloaded the first shows I leeched from this site onto MY computer. When my internet was disconnected I used the second computer in the house to download and I transfered them to mine via USB hard drive. I've been getting appropriate credit from both computers so far so I think everything is in order. I redownloaded the other torrents and am uploading from my USB hard drive (Hitachi Easydrives). As for a space issue; not yet. I've got 2 500gig USB drives.
