True, Aizen can't die now since hes the main villain and there are many mysteries still regarding King of SS, Zero division etc unless hes defeated now and return again in another arc.

Yeah. Who did not expect Aizen to become a Hollow? But we finally get to see the long-awaited "Final Getsuga Tenshou". Although, he still didn't show how he won against that fused Hichigo-Zangetsu. Maybe he doesn't have any ideas.....yet.

Anyway, is it always the same in bleach? You just need to let go of everything, all your weapons, and accept the oppponent's sword? In bleach the path to victory is to give up i say. So i guess stupid Ichigo's dad wasted his final getsuga on aizen for no reason. He could only use it once. So it must have been his first and last time. Didn't even have any effect.

did it say you can only use final getsuga tenshou once, or is that you just give up your powers as a shinigami to do it but keep the ridiculous other powers

Probably the former. As for how did he retrieve his powers, wait for a Kubo hax i guess. I hated the last 2 pages the most. Showing a black shockwave for 2 whole pages? Let's cause a paper crisis in Japan so we get chapters with every page having some content for once.

I wonder if anyone can use the FGT if s/he simply defeats his/her Zanpakutou. Knowing Kubo, he may finish the final battle (after aizen i mean) by making everyone use their FGT and then living as normal humans due to a loss of all their shinigami powers. Oh, BTW, this paragraph was just sarcasm/rant.
