Hello boys and girls,

Rudolph just whispered in my ear that the sleigh is nearly packed. He can hardly wait to lead the reindeer with my sleigh full of toys on our long trip to visit the homes of good boys and girls. The elves are busy putting bows and ribbons on the last of the presents.

I just had to take a minute to write to you and tell you that Santa's elves have prepared a very special present for the boys and girls of BoxTorrents.
Starting the 19th of December somewhere around midnight all torrents will be freeleech until the 4th of January.

Be sure to prepare a download list for this happy occasion!
I will soon be on my way to visit your house. I am excited to begin my long journey to the home of the many good little boys and girls all around the world!

Edit: I had better comment here... >_> Seeding during this time is sure to boost your ratio quite a bit.
Remember to stop insane leeching practices after the 4th, otherwise you might get warned. >_> (Which ain't fun at all. ;_;)

Thanks, Santa! I already have the torrents for over 60 things waiting to be downloaded.

I'll be sure to seed anything I haven't reached a 1.5 ratio on! Hopefully most will do the same so we don't get mass leeching at 0kb/s.

So let me get this straight... what if we ALLLL stop seeding and just decide to leech? What then??? =P =P =P Poor Santa's computer.

Also... if we just leech, will it affect our ratio? Or are you going to freeze it meanwhile?
I don't care about leeching to tell the truth... just want to know if leech/seed will still affect our ratio during those 2 weeks.

Thank you Santa!! This Christmas will lead to having my Internet being extremely slow due to a ton of downloading <3. Need to free some space on HD though.

I'm wondering though, does seeding still help your ratio during this marvelous time?

Free leech means that you can download without your ratio being affected.
Of course, this means that if noone seeds, noone downloads.
