So did anyone else fervently follow this like I did? This was probably my favorite anime of 08', though there were some heavy hitting contenders. (Nodame, Code, Macross, Toradora!)
I thought the final ep had the potential to be a letdown of sorts but they kicked into high gear and I wasn't unhappy with it at all.
I hope they make a season 2, but if they do, it probably won't be for awhile as they don't have enough manga content yet, and I heard the creator was paralyzed for a bit, and in the hospital but is doing well now so hopefully it resumes shortly. I'm going to start reading the manga now I guess. I didn't want to spoil the show so I've been holding off.
I like some of the anime references they throw in, like in the karaoke episode where Jin walks in on the Lucky Star cast. The show did leave me with more questions then answers though, so I do indeed hope they air another season.
By the way, has anyone come to a consensus on which subber's copy we will be uploading to box?
