Anyways, I don't think anyone's really touched up on this, but Gundam 00 seems to be for Gundam Wing what Gundam SEED was trying to be for the UC Gundams. At least that's what people on other sites/discussions have been insinuating. Myself, I've never seen UC because of the lower quality of animation and I've gotten through about 4 episodes of SEED before putting it on extended hiatus until I'm bored enough to try again. That said, reading through this forum's sparked an interest in me to hit up UC, especially since so many of you are of the opinion that it trumps SEED (and every other Gundam), regardless of animation.

Well UC is a lot of better then Seed, UC has over 300 episodes in there timeline and all of them are connect together really well. Gundam Seed takes most of those ideas together and mixes into 50 episodes If you watch Seed there Newtype are called Corrantars. Seed does have bigger action scenes but it sill good.

A Lot of people think that Wing and 00 are a lot a like but that only with characters not with story or action. Wing is more like Zeta gundam and char counter attack

Also Gundam 00 has nothing that Geass has. Trying to combine those together equal fail.

You two have left me... Did you even watch Zeta? It is the most hated gundam series by its creator.. He killed off lol like 2/3's of the cast.. lolz If 00' was like zeta more the lokon would be dead.. And wing.. Noone in wing dies.. ever lol they live thru every amazeing thing..

Lower quality of animation!? I'd agree if you were just talking about Mobile Suit Gundam and/or Zeta (some parts were clearly lower-budget), but fi you think that applies to all of UC, you probably haven't watched most of it.

Of course the newer UC series (and by newer I mean made in the 90s) like 0083 and 08th MS Team will have better animation, but even older series like 0080 and ZZ (leaving the story aside) are very well animated by hand. Animation-wise I'd easily pick one of those over Seed (such lovely template frames and recycled animation, won't you agree?).

While 00 is a pretty piece of artwork and definitely quite a sight in HD, Char's Counterattack and F91 still trump it in animation, IMO.

Also Setuna acts just like Herro Yuri there character type are the same.

Keep watching 00 At the end of the series. I will bet that more then 2/3 of the cast will be killed they already killed about half of them. Did you see the last episode they killed three character at the end of the episode.

Also your wrong about WIng all the doctor died and tres also died. Myelne Parents died alot of character died in WIng.

I think Chars counterattack was remastered i thought i saw it in best buy the other day.
As for F91 i dont know
I know that now that i have the Remasterd Version of Gundam Wing i cant stop watching it. I dont know if they will do a remastered Dub.. I doubt it but hey i can always hope.

Both Char's Counterattack and F91 BDs are remastered IIRC, but I'm too lazy to check it up at the moment (maybe later).

CCA and F91 trump 00 in animation because they look much more natural, and move a lot more smoothly. Fights/battles are also better-choreographed, and doesn't have too much of that boring lasers-and-clashing-melee nonsense. In still screens 00 definitely looks much better, but when in motion it doesn't look quite as pretty >_<

Second that. Char's Counterattack, in the THORA BDrip version, has extremely smooth animation and vibrant colours. I feel that that the colours are better than OO, and the difference in animation is that in Char's Counterattack they animate every frame while in 00 they skip over some of them in order to probably create an illusion of a more dynamic combat but which ends up being confusing.

Okay I will agree that UC does have Better-choreographed and more detail into it fights. BUt 00 does do pretty laser beam and does have great clashing-melee battles. I will agree that the fighting does get on my nervers but it should be a little hard to kill the enemy.

Lasers? You mean beams...? Beams (in animation) haven't changed much in appearance over the past decade or so... but those GN particle effects are nice. And I loved the C.G. work on the Ptolemios. Considering 00 was made at least 15 years after both CCA and F91 we should expect at least as much

But I can't agree on the "clashing-melee" battles. It still doesn't match up to UC standards IMO. I'm still seeing lots of standard, cliched moves, and nothing impressive so far. Whether this reflects more poorly on the fighting standard of the Meisters, or on the show's fight choreographers, I don't know.

I just blame the Meister! I mean come on It not that hard to kill somebody just pull-the-fucking-trigger. I do wish they would kill there enemies faster but it not to bad to have clashing-melee sometime it good to have a grudge match. Dont you want to see which gundam arm is going to torn to bits first?

Well maybe so But you know Amuro VS Char started the hole Clash-melee fighting style. They keep going after each over and over again so it really UC fault that we have it to this day.

Also did you guys see 00 that what i call pulling-the-fucking-trigger. If Gundam show did that after every Clash-melee everybody would want of them.

Seed/Seed Destiny had far too many super-skilled characters who they wouldn't kill off until the climax, it was abnoxious especially since none of them were partcularly interesting - although they did lead to many hyper-active fight scenes, which was all there really was to these series.

They can do a good grudge-match if they make the antagonism real and the characters equal in skill, in Seed/Seed Destiny it was more like... watching an episode of Pokemon, with Team Rocket making an appearence only to be bested, over and over again.
