Yes.
Also, Char is the guy with the Zaku II S (fast version of Zaku II).

Oh, now I remember another question about that series that I wanted to ask:
In relation to the original series, where does the movie "Chars Counterattack" fit in? Do you watch that before or after the original Gundam?

I think it's after ZZ, but if not it should be around that.

It's after the original Gundam(I would recommend the movie trilogy over the series, cuts out a lot of filler) and Zeta. Definitely watch those first. It might be after ZZ as stated above but I've never seen that one and have no problem getting into CCA.
