I do thank you, htears and those others who are helping but i'm looking around as i've said before and i'm coming up dry or dusty (meaning i've only found a little scrap of info, but not enough to help)

at the moment, i'm going to watch a movie, return the ones i rented and then take a walk. i just need to rest a little. got heart issues.

I wonder what that N-word was all about (noob, nerd, ?), my English is not good enough to know all the insults, particularly internet ones. Anyway, I just pointed out that your advice "htears: Did you try the fserve laplacian in #lurk @ irchighway.net ? It has the official files ( + names )." is blatantly wrong.  It must be obvious to anyone who saw a scanslation or two these aren't original file names. This is not called arguing, it's called clearing misinformation.  When exposed, you use insults instead of apologizing you tried to mislead someone into doing lots of useless work. Even more, you try to threaten me with moderators.  Kids these days. * sighs *

As for helping out, as I said before, I know better than wasting my time getting "original files" - I got sick of channel hopping and from like 2005, I get all my manga from #lurk. That means I don't have them and I think it's near impossible to get them now, for the reasons stated in previous posts. Sorry, a10112. I hope you get better, by the way.

According to you, all my rules( which are the rules set by the admins/mods ) are lame and should be ignored so that the users can upload whatever they like( which may be far from being original files ).
And here we go, another silly lie by htears. I never said anything like that - dunno what are you trying to do here.  ::)  You should spend that energy of yours on something useful, like that Rave Master you promised quite some time ago or submitting proper HSDK when you were so eager to help to shoot down its previous offer.

By the way, I've yet to see fine examples of manga torrents at BBT having like 8+ groups releases and still retaining the original packaging including file names.

I did admit that my statement was wrong but i never gave any misinformation ( i explained it in my previous comment ). You can't blame me for just one wrong comment. Read the other ones also and tell me if i said anything wrong. And i am not threatening you by mentioning the mods. They've set the rules, so if you've got any problems/doubts with the rules, only the mods can help you. I am just a regular member :D

That's what you are trying to say indirectly.

As i said before, i've finished downloading Rave master. Only some modifications are left to be done. I have the right to take as much time as i want since i am handling ~300 chapters.

Its not my fault that HSDK torrent was rejected. If the uploader isn't following the rules( for a torrent offer ), his offer is bound to get rejected.

or silvermask & Franky-House like this (see e.g. here):
Quote
DGrayMan_174__silvermask_FH__.zip
This name is only like this because of the XDCC bot. It replaces most symbols with _. If you looked at the torrent, the real release name is this:
Code: [Select]
D.Gray_Man_174_[silvermask_FH].zip

And here I thought the primary and thus official distribution channel pretty much every decent scanslation group uses is the IRC. So now you can't get original file names even from the group's very own distro bot?  ??? I don't get why the bot replaces left bracket with one underscore, the right one with two and inserts an underscore between "Gray" and "Man" though. To me, it seems like the file name was also altered manually.

Anyway, my point still stays valid - the file names are different than those on laplacian bot. But we are beating a dead horse here, so ... * shrugs *
