Visual novel...? Oh, the game. I heard some people were translating it. It is actually pretty interesting, if you don't already know how the game endings differ from the anime.
(click to show/hide)You know how he has sex with a lot of female classmates just before his untimely end? That was actually one of the endings you could enjoy in the game; it would seem the anime, though, decided to make their own ending.
Still, the game has many... wonderful endings.

I don't recall the anime ending in the visual novel, i.e.
(click to show/hide)The death and beheading of Makato, then the short but bloody 'battle' between Sakai and the other girl and finally the boat scene.
I'm not sure if this is spoiler material as well, but one of the endings to the game does include:
(click to show/hide)The psychotic chick slicing up Sakai's neck, however I believe this was done in public on a bridge. And then there's another ending where Makato does get stabbed with a knife by Sakai, except that's on the beach and I don't believe his head gets cut off.
I'm going to go have to look the game endings.

There are over twenty possible endings in School Days.

I read there are 37 endings, with HQ version adding in additional 3, enjoy getting them pokemons :D
