MUCH better, very good read though it tends to get overhyped.

OMG. I am busy watching this thing and I just can'stand how slow it is. I mean come on, it's slower than 24 (I never watched 24 though). But jeez, it takes at least 5 episodes to get through 1 hour. >:(

Just got done watching Gantz and while slow in parts I really llike it. It's a messed up anime like I've never seen before.
I will say though the animation wasn't that good. It was like watching a sat morning cartoon show. I didn't expect it.

Seriously read the manga i also thought what you were thinking ( pointless ending etc) but the manga is awesome....i read naruto,bleach,etc yet this is still no.1 !!!

NOTE: All three awesome manga's have seriously lame anime adaptations in my opinion..
