How come some ppl compare Elfen Lied with Gantz ? Unlike Elfen Lied, Gantz offers a lot more realist perspective of brutality and human nature.

I'm well aware that Kill the Kurono Alien episodes sucked.

Never mind the last episodes, and jump to the manga instead. It's already become a legend.

i honestly don't get why they are compared so much. the only similarities is the gore and nudity. other then that elfen lied and gantz are nothing alike. considering gantz is just a mindfuck high stakes game

elfen lied on the other hand has a nice story, romance/harem elements and has some emotional parts. EL<3

everyone died so what was the point of watching that i could have just read the synopsis and had someone tell me oh btw the guy looses his virginity a bunch of people die and then gantz tries pitting everyone against each other and everyone dies. that's the end no story of what happened after nothing. just FIN.

i really think the story itself has potential. well more potential then what it got out of this anime. a remake is in order lol

I had to necro this thread because as I was watching TV yesterday, a Sprint commercial came on , and the music was the intro measures to the OP song of Gantz. It was at least a close copy of the song. If anyone has seen this Sprint commercial, tell me if I am wrong.
