Windows 7 and general bitching about OSes

Lupin:
i'm also currently using the windows 7 beta. so far the only problem i encountered is the mp3 issue. good thing i had my mp3s write protected.

costi:
There's already a fix for that, available via Windows Update...

mgz:
downloading tonight will install cod4 and see how it goes

per:
I'm rather tempted to install it, actually, mostly since vista just plain sucks, and I have misplaces my old XP 64-bit licence key and CD.

But then I noticed that I don't have any DVD-writer any more. It's not recognized for some reason or other, and fiddling around with the cabling did not help, so apparantly I'm doomed to stay with vista forever. :-)

You dont have to do a wipe to check it out. I shrank my partition with disk management by 20 gigs, formatted it and installed in 25 min. I am more impressed by the day actually thinking of swapping over to it completely, only thing stopping me is that MCP is a tad buggy sound wise. Its not 7 though music plays fine and anime plays well in windows media player I just don't like it is too clunky.

BTW After you are done messing around just click extend volume to reclaim the space.
