Windows 7 and general bitching about OSes
Semnae:
The website for the Windows 7 Beta download is back up again. I'm trying to download it, but it seems Microsoft hasn't discovered bittorrent yet. I select my language, hit "go", and I end up staring at a green circle of dots being formed and unformed as it loads, up until it freezes up and I have to try again.
Edit: I finally got it to work. Their download page was freaking out because it isn't compatible with Chrome.

You honestly think MS bothers testing their pages in anything other than IE? :P

They have to make sure that their page doesn't work properly in any other browser, so of course they test them.

I wouldn't be surprised.

But then I noticed that I don't have any DVD-writer any more. It's not recognized for some reason or other, and fiddling around with the cabling did not help, so apparantly I'm doomed to stay with vista forever. :-)

Make yourself a bootable pendrive and install from that.
