What are they trying to do, make Clannad more sad then Air? :P

I like the series and all this talk makes me want to finish the second season 'After story', but now I'm apprehensive I don't need to be tearing up at an anime. Crap I should have skipped this thread.

I swear that anime literally rips the tears out of my eye sockets. I cried like a baby for almost a whole minute watching episode 18. True touching stuff right there. I feel so upset and sad right now.

I didn't think anything could top what 16 did to me. Looks like I was wrong.. very wrong.
(click to show/hide) tbh, the entire last half of the episode had me going. The truth of what his father was doing for it, him and Ushio crying in the field. Finally talking about Nagisa on the train.. 3 heavy hitting things right in a row. That just can't be allowed anymore.
