I don't think the novels with the rest of the Taiki arc have been translated yet. I search around every once in a while to see if I can find anything, but nothing so far.

One thing to consider is that in the books it's more of a collection of stories taking place in the twelve kingdoms.
There is no overall storyline. Youko is just one of many main characters.

Btw it seems I was mistaken, a new Twelve Kingdoms story was actually released just last year.

Do you know the name of this new Twelve Kingdoms or where it can be found? I only ask cuz Ive not seen it thanx

They are just short stories that where published in a maganzine. The one I mentioned in that post was Hisho no Tori (丕緒の鳥) that was released in February 2008. Another named Rakusho no Goku (落照の獄) was published September 2009.
Memories are meant to fade. They're designed that way for a reason.

Great, now im rewatching this anime due to seeing its name pop up again.

I love how epic this series is, and how epic it could be if they ever finished it or just did another season even!

Its just such a rich fantasy anime,  I wish i could find more of its caliber (only with real endings)
