FF VII [Series] + FF XIII + FF XIII-2 + FF XIII-3 + FF XV

Spanks:
I don't even know what SE are doing anymore, on one hand they are pumping out quick to make, cheap remakes and franchise psp, ds and phone games then on the other they are spending copious amounts of time and money on FFXIII franchise, only for them to be boring games anyway. Though I don't blame them for trying to make the combat different but you would think that after it not working in FF12 and and FF14.

SeventyX7:
I don't understand why people are talking about FF X-2 like it had a good combat system.  It's combat system was horribly broken in flawed.  It actually reminded me A LOT of FF8's combat system, except instead of spamming Renzokuken over and over I was just cracking out the special transformation dress sphere to pwn enemies in a couple turns.

Havoc10K:
Lemme guess, you never fought Paragon ?
There are enemies where changing a dress sphere is the only way to fight it actually, like the ones immune to any magic or physical attacks. Main quest enemies were not even hard to fight, but some of the enemies on the side story were really something to be scared of. Vegnagun compared to Paragon was like Fire fly in FF8 compared to ... Ruby weapon in FF7, it's that much of a difference. Fighting Paragon and changing you dress sphere in the fight was a mistake every time.

Do you have such enemies in FF13 ? where even on capped level you can get owned wit ha 1 second lost for thinking ?

Remind me but isn't FF13 turn based ? like FFX ?

You should have all posting rights revoked for having to ask that.

No, it's not. It's very similar in style to X-2, but even more frantic. FFXIII has the toughest regular opponents in the series (that you pretty much have to grind against if you want to make $$$). Even with all your characters and weapons MAXED, you can still get 1HKO'd if you forget to switch your paradigm. And sometimes even then it's impossible to recover from.

Havoc10K:
If it's fast paced then it's good, but from all the stuff I saw in vids it's pretty much just mash em up fast and not very fun, also I noticed that SE went a fairly easy way regarding spells effects. I liked the big flashy stuff pre-FFX and now it's just a shot of firaga and you barely even notice the spell itself, only the numbers.

That's at least what I see from vids.
