I had the same exact impression. It just jumped to way too many different places at once, I hope the 2nd episode either goes more into who some of these characters are or at least doesn't jump around nearly as much.
mgz:
hmm just watched russian subs version of queens blade video and audio quality werent bad, subs were clear and easy to read most of the sentences were ok maybe a couple lines coulda been better worded, cant comment to much on TL
SirSkyRider:
Phantom - typical Mashimo, but there were no "HUH?!?"-Moments yet. OP good, ED... it's Ali Project. First Ep. gets 8/15
Bashquash! - Kinda reminded me of a more child-appropriate Tekkonkinkreet, OST is so far quite nice. Satelight already did a good job on Sôsei no Aquarion, especially with the CGI. That's the case here as well. First Ep. gets 13/15
Valkyria Chronicles - Why do they have a tank in their garage? I want one too! Some flaws in animation and character design, but overall solid. First Ep. gets 10/15
Pandora Hearts - Hm. Confusing. Very confusing. That's just the way I like it. My favorite so far. First Ep. gets 14/15
K-ON! - Good. Just good. Now I just have overcome my phobia of insert songs performed by the characters... First Ep. gets 13/15
Now I'll just have to wait for the first episodes of Higashi no Eden, Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S and Ristorante Paradiso.
