Reminds me of all those "You fail at anime" threads on 4ch regarding Spike and how...

Queen's Blade is most definitely 16++. Serious star power, with the Hirano, Ayako Kawasumi, Rie Kugimiya and of course Atsuko Tanaka being the big four.

Also,
What the Haruhiists have been waiting for? Take it with a grain of salt, of course. It could be a Kadokawa April Fool's thing.

looks like Queen's Blade will be broad casted by ATX!  :o
This is good news, uncut! HD! Like RV2 Capu, but I'm still paranoid about the whole bats and bears censoring from Rosario.

I've watched the raw, and it's completely uncensored, though in 4:3 ratio...  :-\
Seriously though, I think there must be 60% less lines per episode in this compared to even most shounen action anime. I expect TL to be over and done with a lot faster than most shows.

Queen's Blade is already subbed by [Aasasubs].
Well, no worries of it being lolicon, with those enormous sizes.

Saw the "Eden of the East" trailer by [Frostii].  Now that's a series I'm looking forward to, even if it's a naked man with a gun.

Yeerch... Unknown Primarily foreign language group... I'll probably go with Chihiro.

Fixed, also, it's got Kenji Kamiyama heading the project.

Since English subs aren't out yet so I decided to pick a Chinese one and I was like  :o
Good gracious!! AWESOME WIN!! Queen's Blade even has one of the best voice cast line-up, they're all my favorites.

And what's this thing about FMA being licensed by FUNi..... can someone clarify this?

I just got done watching the first episode of K-On and Phantom ~Requiem for the phantom~

K-On is fantastic. I can tell that after one episode KyoAni is going to win me over again and I'll be following it the whole run. According to MAL, it's only going to be 13 episodes which is a little disappointing, but I have a feeling it will be one of my top watches of the season.

Phantom was....okay. It's a typical Beetrain production, so if you enjoyed Noir or El Cazador de la Bruja (the first episode reminded me A LOT of El Cazador), you'll probably like this as well. It has great music as well. Not sure if I will follow it or not...I probably will, just because I typically love Beetrain's productions, but the first episode of Phantom did seem a little cliche to me, after seeing their other stuff.

Yep, it's not a rumor anymore. Funi's going to be streaming it within a few days of broadcast, so I think I'll just watch that instead of sorting through the mess of fansub groups. In a way, it's better that Funi announced this upfront right away, instead of after a few dozen episodes -- that would've meant more groups dropping, other groups picking it up, groups working under alternate names, and more chaos in general.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

No wonder my local channel was able to do a simulcast for FMA, they had a deal with FUNi, its nearly impossible to be able to do so without a proper collaboration.

This season, I’ll be working with Frostii on Higashi no Eden/Eden of the East, FMA with gSS and continue my work on Kurokami at a slowking.tiff speed.

yay! it's nice knowing that gSS will still be working on FMA despite the license!

Hm...

Definitely:
K-ON (Music's always good and nice)
La Corda d'Oro secondo passo (Same, although I've not finished the primo passo yet)
Phantom - Requiem of the Phantom (Crime? yes! Bee Train? Yes!!!)
Bashquash (Dunno why)
Higashi no Eden (Kenji Kamiyama x Production I.G.? YES!)
Pandora Hearts (Interesting concept, besides: Kajiura-sensei has made the OST)
Ristorante Paradiso (Food is another topic I like and is very hard to find)

Maybe:
Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica S
Shangri-La (Will be licensed after two or three weeks anyway...)
Asura Cryin'
Natsu no Arashi
Hatsukoi Gentei
07-Ghost
Spice and Wolf II

K-ON! I'll follow for my school life/slice of life.
Higashi no Eden. I.G fanboy in the room.
Valkyria Chronicles seems interesting, I'll take a look.
Shangri-La's first ep is a little rushed, but I'll give it the three ep treatment.
Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen, because some people are bugging me to.
Ristorante Paradiso... Looks interesting enough.

Phantom - Requiem of the Phantom (Crime? yes! Bee Train? Yes!!!)
!?!? Sarcasm?

The idea behind the show is really appealing, but initial impressions seem pretty mediocre and there isn't a decent studio involved with the project.

Bee Train has such a bad rap for making middle of the range shows in this genre, it's a little sad. Noir was good for its time. Madlax was so blah I didn't bother watching. El Cazador was great in terms of character development, it's my favourite out of the trilogy. I never read the Tsubasa manga, so I felt the anime was not bad. Phantom looks to be okay.

Geez, cut them some slack. They're not trying to be MADHOUSE or I.G (and even those studios have some mediocre works). Bee Train is a decent studio IMO.

1. El Cazador was great in terms of character development, it's my favourite out of the trilogy.
2. I never read the Tsubasa manga, so I felt the anime was not bad.
3. Phantom looks to be okay.

1. El Cazador was also good, but the character design wasn't the same one which Madlax and Noir had - made me a little sad. Also, the "subtle yuri" idea went a little overboard. And a japanese onsen in the mexican desert? Gimme a break!
2. The anime lacks just the same things that every anime based on a Clamp manga lacks: No connections to the other works, which is extremely important in Tsubasa. It has no blood, too - the original is sometimes extremely violent.
3. Let's hope that it'll be just that - after having read on anidb that it is based on a nitroplus vn, I kinda lost faith in the show.
