Gotta say that I was quite surprised at how the ride looked
for SnS2 Joint, can't really put my finger on why but the
song and the ride don't match imho.

As for me I've had problems with Audio Surf since the update =/
Get graphical artifacts and stuff whatever settings I try
and even though I can kinda minimize them using the lowest
settings there's still enough of them to distract =(

Ending this post with a recommendation instead, the ED of
Zero no Tsukaima - Futatsuki no Kishi: Suki? Kirai!? Suki!!!

Anyway, Ninja Mono run on Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari -Bakemonogatari ED. (Stealth, Match 11, Clean Finish - 142,854) Gets pretty jittery at the end, but otherwise a decent run.

Argh, how I miss this game =/ Current graphics card
gives all crap on the screen at the very thought of
anything 3D-accelerated and is quite busted.

Gotta get me a replacement soon =(

You can get a very decent card for around $100 bucks nowadays. Hell, you could probably pick one up that plays Audiosurf just fine for $50.

Play Key of the Twilight from the .hack//sign OST 1. It's by far the best Audiosurf song I've ever played imo. I have a video of a Ninja Mono Ironmode run with Clean Finish and Match 21 that's 157k, 1k below the top score. Now imagine that with Stealth. ^^

Stealthed it finally with the Match 21 and Clean Finish. 199720. I'm aiming to break 200k on it since I avoided some.. problem blocks and might have been able to get a 2nd Match 21 at one point.

Is it just me or J-pop songs are among the hardest songs to Stealth?

Rather than start a new thread, I'll ask here. If the mods think it's better to just start a new one, I'll do that instead.

I'm looking for suggestion of good anime songs, or just J-pop in general, that are fun to Audiosurf. I don't usually download much songs from animés, unless I get stuck with the song in my head for a week, so my collection is pretty small. Do you guys have any suggestions? If you've landed an amazing Mono score on it, that's a big plus. I always enjoy competition.

Talking about competition, neither Drew nor Arveene listen to Macross Frontier songs or we're just using different authors? I expected to see at least one of the two of you on the scoreboards with an unbeatable score that will keep me eplaying the song 40 times in a row just to give up, but neither of you are there.

To be honest, Borror0, I haven't even seen Macross Frontier, let alone download the OST for it (I will nab the OST, though). Also, if you have any recommendations, please put them here. I find that I've been running kinda short on stuff recently, and have been falling back to "normal" music or videogame music (Touhou in particular). So, yeah... that's my excuse. >_>

Yeah, that's sort of the same problem I have. I had to fall back on normal music, and while I love the songs they are less intense than J-pop songs for a reason (How can Anti-Flag be less intense than a J-pop song?!), hence why I'm asking here.

The only non-Macross animé song that I found myself enjoying was Yuukyuu no Tsubasa 07.mix, from ef - A Tale of Memories. I didn't expect that song to be that crazy. And, the song is just good so that's another reason to DL it!

As for Macross Frontier songs, just download the "Macross Frontier Vocal Collection - Nyan Tama" from the OST. It should pretty much grab all the good songs.

LonE has both of the OPs from Canaan and Umineko. Umineko's is meh for Audiosurf. If you're looking for regular music I have a decent amount for that. Again.. I need time to go through some of this. >.>

Your English music song choices totally rock. I'm going to try to beat those Bad Religion songs scores for sure. Seems have have pretty similar musical tastes from this very limited sample. My last.fm account.
