I wish we didn't have so long to wait for the verdict, but I am sure that's normal.
Oh so pitiful the terrorist crap- MPAA funded study after all.

Are you somehow implying that the MPAA is run by old fossils of people that don't know anything, except for how to impose old traditional values on emerging technology...?

Oh wait, they are!

Metallica => Hypocritica

EDIT for explanation: Lars Ulrich DLs his own album and is amazed.

He'll probably have his own Metallica rip collection by tomorrow.

Well, to be honest, my comments are almost always irrelevant, but once I type about three to four words of a post, my mind just kind of meanders around until I type the last sentence.  And lo, this is that sentence.

Indeed they are.

Welcome to the 21st century, Lars - although the same ‘bizarre’ stuff went on in the last century too.

Ahh the Irony coming from the guy who pretty much spearheaded the campaign to ruin Napster.

Heh, and the scene always criticized bittorrent for poor security. Who is laughing now....
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Fansubbers = consumers? ORLY now?

Hmmmmmm i wonder just how greedy one has to be to do this sort of shit. If they go after anime groups next, and knowing how greedy they are, its going to happen, then the war is on. Ill be DAMNED if i lose my anime to some greedy bastard who has nothing better to do but this.

Norwegian gov't gets smart.

NRK is something that should be obliterated. No matter if you watch them or not you pay for this channel. Maybe it was a good way to finance it as the only channel in a post WW2 era, but now it is simply idiotic. Anyone who has TV pays a few hundred bucks each year for this shitty channel. So it's only a given that they don't have commercials and share their programs on bittorrent.

Ah, so that's the story. I fail at doing proper background research.

It's nice to not have to watch commercials though. I watched NRK instead of the Swedish TV4 during a skiing competition last week.
If you switch to commercial right at the ending of a race like they did then you deserve to be shot on sight.
