Who wants audio CD anyway? CD as a music format is as ancient as LP. I don't have anything that plays CD's any more. This is the age of MP3 players.
Oh, and for those that have a car CD player, buy one with frontal USB connection. Then just plug in an 8 GB USB memory and you never have to keep a bunch of CDs in you car ever again!

A $200 Kenwood deck will play from USB, no need to buy a BMW for that. I have an 8GB thumbdrive, it isn't quite big enough, I'm thinking about getting something bigger so I don't have to worry about picking and choosing what I can leave in the car all the time. It's nice to not worry about losing your whole music collection if some tweaker decides to break in, a ~$20 thumb drive is pretty easy to replace compared to the tons of CD's we used to have to carry around all the time.
