Just finished watching this anime. I'm going to say, since people gave it scoring, it goes in my book as a 4 out of 5, bolded and marked as favorite.

My final conclusion, watch it when you are bored, don't expect so much out of it. The animation, sound, voice acting, characters and the plot are really nice. The story telling, on the other hand ... is completely fucked up. I could have set the story in a better way for god sakes. But it just gets dumped down after episode 13 ...

Moving on ...

I can certainly say that the ending in Xamdou was much better than Eureka's ending (in certain parts). But, stating it again, after episode 13 .. just goes down the hill, slowly.

Wow, I just saw everything THORA had done, and I was NOT able to restrain myself for more THORA eps! What a great series, the animation is sublime, and the characters are incredibly likeable. What I'd like is a more thorough explanation of what Xam'd really is. The storyline is really exiting, and there's an eva-feeling over the series, though only a feeling. Oh, and BONES animated the show = 'nuff said.

You know I couldn't help feeling INCREDIBLY impressed with how they integrated all the plot cycles simultaneously. The whole storyline about his mom and dad just blew me away

i enjoyed this series way too much. one of the best soundtracks imo. i like to think of xam'd as E7 but without the targeted audience being younger kids. i also think that Xam'd and E7's running length should have been swapped around. E7 felt extremely dragged out while Xam'd felt like there was too much information in too little time.

That about sums up how I saw the series. Add in an awesome soundtrack imo and you have it.

I just finished it yesterday. An amazing series which needs to be watched several times to fully understand it. Depends on the person watching it.

I personally watched 1-20 the first round, then I waited one year it seems (;D), and watched 11-26.

I didn't really like what happened to the little sister on my first watch, not so much what she goes through, but more how her character changed.
