The Perfect Ending?

The ending isn't any where near as important to me as the plot/characters through out the series. Different endings fit better for different storys.

The only ending I hate is when an annoying char doesn't die or go away.

I hate him!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why didn't everyone just kill him? And a slow pain full death would have been most satisfying.

But to answer more directly, I don't think any one ending fits all animes. Usually I like the end that is given

LOL, well said.  Gurren Lagann was a rollercoaster to say the least.

The last ending I truly enjoyed was Geass', because it had everything an ending should have.

As long as you don't feel cheated with the ending, I think it's a win.
