Hyakko & Allison to Lillia

Gnabgib:
I pretty much had the same reaction to Allison and Lillia.   Its fairly boring when halfway through the first episode of most of the 4-5 episode story arcs you know exactly where its going.  I was kinda surprised I managed to watch the whole thing.  I kept thinking it had to get better at some point, and then the ending came and it was like they tried to fit 12 different cliches into the ending just to annoy me further.

The whole thing kinda reminds me of Princess Bride, except that movie was making fun of itself and Allison and Lillia was seriously trying to be all the things that Princess Bride made fun of.

I don't know about you, but the most pretty setting I've ever seen in a series is, and probably will be for awhile, Seirei no Moribito. It was like watching 13 hours of Ghibli animation, an orgasm for the eyes.

I've been listening to the samples of the Hyakko OST on CDJapan, and all I can say is: HURRY UP NIPPONSEI, RIP IT ALREADY.
The OST is so over the top and, to tell the truth, so perfectly fitting for this show... I want it, and I would buy it, but it's expensive and there's shipping to think about.
Oh man, track 33 is the one that was playing in the second half of episode 6... The EPIC PART.

I ended up enjoying Allison to Lillia very much.

The anime would have been one of my favorites if only it: (click to show/hide)1. Didn't make it seem like you can easily take hostages using only a knife while surrounded by guards.
2. Didn't make it so the good guys never shot anyone unless they were certain to hit a gun or a shoulder.
3. Didn't go through such a roundabout way to kill Treize (seriously, you've got him in the car, shoot him.)
4. Didn't end the show without explaining how Treize was supposed to have survived while standing on top of a train doing 70kph as it falls into a ravine. The only REAL problem was that last one... which in general is a sense that they rushed the end.

I'd love to see another season of this (with a script that didn't require suspension of disbelief quite so often).

One thing I've always wondered about Allison to Lillia is, just what is Allison sending or doing to Lillia? Is it like that one movie, "From Justin to Kelly"?
