I thought about this for all of about five min. but I would have to go with Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad. Except I would cut out that whole commitment thing, and coolness he doesn't get his ass beat like most guys in harem anime.

if l was a girl, l'd like to be Haruhi, not for the looks, she unconciously controlls the world and universe, and is able to make ppl do what she wants, thats an awesome strenght to have,
as a guy, l'd like to be Kyo from Samurai Deeper Kyo, l'm halfway like him, l'm just not killing ppl but given time who knows XD, basicaly that badass is what l like to be, he made himself an enemy to the world, yet somehow he made friends out of some of his enemies, cought a nice babe, killed himself and lived it (Doh!)

alternatively, Lina Inverses panties role fit me well enough in anime chars :] l simply adore her, stupid Goury not seing she loves him, or maybe he sees it, hell, Gaav was also awesome, freaking giant with even more freaking giant sword ;]
Thing l like about Lina Inverse - she has exactly the same point of view about justice as l do ;] it's good if it serves me, rewards ? sure, treasures and magic spells ? sure, l'll take em, what l gotta kil la dragon first ? /cast Dragon Slave (village is burned) What ? no reward ? l killed the dragon, who cares l destroyed a vilalge gimme the reward !, noooo?
