« on: February 26, 2009, 12:38:56 AM »
Intresting anime, thou maybe intresting isnt the right word.. Its nothing special but it has hold of my attention. I just want to know the reason behind hells gate. I'm on ep 14 so soon i guess i will learn the mystery. Also who doesnt love a dogooder wearing a joker mask. plus you get to see a pizza hut add in every other secene lol.
Anyone else like this show?

i really liked the show though i havent finished it yet. it is pretty kickass, though i cant seem to find a very linear story line that i would expect from such an anime. i am on like episode 15 or something. i forgot as i found other more attention grabbing animes. i do enjoy watching it though, when im in the mood to watch a good shounen.

I liked it but found it to be a bit forgettable towards the end.

I really liked the Renumeration idea ,that you have to do something OCD like when using your powers.
Not a masterpeice but worth watching if you like the serious stuff which I do.

One of my favourites. Really enjoyed it.... oh, btw are you sure you want to know what is behind the hell gate?  ;)
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Definitely one of my fav series until the last few eps.  But maybe they will redeem themselves with the next season.  Probably the only series I watched while it was airing and then redownloaded and watched again.

BTW Kirihara was hot in ep 9 and 10, she should dump her glasses.  :)

Isn't it "Darker than Black," as in "more dark compared to black" rather than "first darker, then black"?

Idk, this show didn't catch my interest enough for me to DL it when it was airing, and then I later heard that the ending was a letdown, so I stayed away. I guess I normally prefer the fluffy/cute/colorful/moe anime over shows like this. But maybe I'll give it a chance when Funimation releases a cheap collection for it.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

Um I've heard talk that they were supposed to do at least one more season especially if you consider

This show was a really interesting one. It had slick fight scenes, a nice dark-ish storyline (but it wasn't entirely devoid of hope; what I liked about it is that it just displayed everything as it was, really...), and a fairly badass protagonist. Sometimes, it feels a bit shounen-ish, but it always brings you back to reality, in one way or another. Really nice...

Cute, huh?

That's the story I heard with a new Darker Than Black, and considering a new Full Metal Alchemist is coming I think it has some credibility. Also I remember hearing that the manuscript was stolen at some point by the production manager before anyone had seen it.

Edited for mistakes.

k.

I came here to post that same thing.  But yea I agree if the new FMA and new DTB were on the same document then it's a pretty serious possibility that it will be back.  I do feel like certain things were missing from the final revelation.  Seemed as though they definitely intended to bring it back.  I usually don't say this but they have a lot to work as far as making a second season.

DtB is one of my favorite shows (nothing has come close in 2008 or 2009 thus far).  I'm drooling over a sequel considering there is so little else to look forward to. I'll be really disappointed if the rumour is false.

Almost forgot to mention, intro songs were good. probably the only anime where I don't skip it.

yeah i noticed that about the pizza hut,
same goes for Code Geass

when you see

so we can conclude that pizza hut will atleast get through the financial crisis to exist way into the future when britannia starts to exist.

I hope that season 2 will be good, and explain things a little better.
I love DTB.
