Oh, and one more thing I forgot to mention earlier:
The first ending song is simply amazing. The rest of the op/eds was just okay, but this one song is awesome.

You really think so? I liked all the backstory, and I thought they did a pretty good job of wrapping everything up and slowly unveiling just how large the Syndicate really was (and is), as well as its true goals.

I'm sick of secret organizations run by chic characters which actually run the world which our protagonist doesn't know anything about even though everybody in the goddamn show does despite it being a super ultra secret organization.
I fucking loved it when Pratchett dumped all over that trope in Guards! Guards!
DtB was; however, a hell of a lot less annoying than code geass. That show was one bad CLAMPism after another.
