EF ~ A Tale of Memories/Melodies
Tatsujin:
I have no words to describe this anime ... There are no words that exist to describe it that I can think of.

None of those. Eternity and Infinity don't fit to describe this series. I can tell you that I haven't really been moved in such a long, long time since Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, and haven't cried as much since that anime as well, like real tears. I feel so embarassed saying those things, but well ... it did happen. But again, no words can describe this anime, they don't exist.

a tale of memories is good 4 me...but a tale of melodies...that's so so...shouldn't expect much...

I adored the first ef series, gave it 9/10...I watch a lot of "based on visual novel" anime, and memories could've easily been just one of the crowd, if not for all the unconventional artwork and visual metaphors. In the first ep of melodies, I'm already seeing some similarities to PaniPoni Dash, also by the same director. A friend of mine IRL said that melodies was on par with the first series when it comes to sadness, although it's not too apparent from the first. That Mizuki girl was pretty cool...she's the kind of character that people who don't like moe will hate on principle, but she reminded me of a slightly more worldly Misuzu Kamio.
And that masta playa violinist..."if you're dating 2 girls, it's a fight, if you're dating 20, it's a competition" ahahahaha. Looking forward to more antics from him.

If i recall correctly! i love on one of the first episodes (when the chick goes to his house)
that she says "i like raw concerts" and he thinks "i like it raw too without condom"
or was it just my imagination?
