omg you serious? episode 1 strapped me in my seat and made me watch all the episodes! it was FLAWLESS!

So I've just finished Kannagi... and I'm really not too sure what to say about it. I'll just make a list based on the first things that come to mind:
1. I have no idea what it was trying to do. There's some slice-of-life, some school relationship drama, some stuff about gods and possession and whatnot.
2. Whatever it was, it did it in an above average way.
3. The five minutes of the last episode with the dead lady held more emotional impact for me than the entire rest of the series.
4. Nagi's karaoke with the soybean song was good. The Shirigeya theme song was good too.
5. Um, I don't have much else to say, except that the show lacked focus. The characters weren't expanded upon enough for me to seriously feel any of them, the relationships are laughable and exaggerated, especially the homo and bi thing felt very forced. The animation was pretty nice. Music was not bad. That's it.
6. PS, Tsugumi and Akiba were the most believeable characters by far.
Maybe I was expecting too much, after all the hype, but it wasn't anything amazing to me. Sorry, Tatsujin and everyone else, I give this a solid 6.5/10, entertaining but not much else.
