Animation = Wow. That's the first thing that captures the eyes. Episode 2 and going, no lack of performance what-so-ever. I'm liking this.

It's a good series, but do yourself a favor, and stop watching it at episode 10.

I liked the entire series. . .but the ending. . .

I was upset they abandoned the storyline for most of the eps and only picked it up again by the very very end. Though at same time i felt the story didn't go nowhere after it started up again $:-\$

They tend to do that for a lot of shows in the genre, pisses me off sometimes

Kannagi was at it best when it was a character-driven slice of life comedy. When it tried to be serious, it mostly failed miserably.

and for the record, many anime series with boy/girl type of themes end up with either romance or drama, not all. so yea i know where this is going.

that maid chop is freaking AWESOME in this episode. i wonder if they seriously let females dress like that showing their legs all the way up and all (those who've seen nagi know what i mean). anyone know?

You guys underestimate the power of your deity.

Kannagi was wicked fun. I loved every bit of it. It's almost certainly in my top-ten.

The creator has been on hiatus due to some health concerns.

I thought that hiatus was partially caused by all the "Why is Nagi such a slut" 2chan RAAAAGE. But regardless, this looks like a show I need to check out, one of these days.

Now I know what you're talking about. I just saw the full group cast from Lucky Star in Kannagi, I guess the director is taking a wide jab at the company that let him go over Lucky Star issues. And yes, for the sake of my sanity ... this anime does kick ass, major ass, and its one hell of a ride to be on so far. And well, Nagi > Konata. Lucky Star just fell a step below this anime. I like Kannagi, it is more mature and aims for adult audience.

Edit -- Just finished it. Wow, that was great! I liked it alot. Woot, wooto wotowotooooowowowow otowootowoowooooooo ooooooooot! Happy ending and some great ecchi and erotic and some comedy! Now, BRING US THE SECOND SEASON ~

I just finished watching this series myself. Not a big fan of comedy, but this one was pretty damn funny! I enjoyed it a lot. I didn't mind the seriousness of the last couple of episodes either... thought it was a nice change of pace. I give it a 7.7/10. (That's high for a pure comedy in my book

I give it a 5/5 and one of my favorites. I rank things out of 5 with no decimals. I thought the ending was pretty nice too. I'm sure the second season should explain more things and maybe things will get a bit more erotic -rubs his bleeding nose-

Hahaha. It way too hard for me to rate things on such an inflexible scale

From a comedic viewpoint though, it's definitely one of my favorite comedies. I hope the second season is even better than the first! And yes... erotic... it certainly ended quite well, didn't it?

^ If no-one actually knew, the hiatus ended quite a while ago.

Reported sick -> Otakus blamed -> Eri Takenashi recovers from Surgery. That was December 12th, so it's a bit out of date
