why ² ?
there was allready one thread about eve-online but as soon as i wanted to reply forum said it hasn't been wached for 120days+ dont you want to make a new one?

So, im new to box torrents and first thing i saw was an eve-online avatar in someones profile so i suggest here are some eve players arround (ok the thread i found gave me the final
idea to make this one xD)

would be nice if someone comes here to talk a litle about eve whos addicted like me ;P

I'm an EVE player.
I reside in around the solar system called, "Cat" which is in "Essence".

I belong to a corp called, "Viraloutbreak" which is a spinoff from the counterstrike community I belong to.

I'm new to the game, being only around 3 weeks in, but several memebers are 4+ years and help me lots. The aim of our corp is to focus on getting a PoS moon mining facility. Though we do lots of level 4 missions for ISK and standing.

So far I'm really liking the game. =D

Been playing for about a year and a half. I'm in the Northern Coalition NAP/blob-fest in a pretty decent smaller alliance.

And I do hang out in the section 11 channel.

I use to be an EVE player but stopped because I got bored of it. It felt like a job to me and it was taking a long time to get anywhere

I just tryed t3 ships on test server

They look nice, but they suck, got 4k armor and 80/90% resists, but no dps at all. Id buy em for 200 mil on tq at most.
(was flying proteus, the gallente one)

t3 ships are no badass pvp piew piew soloporn mobiles

(ok im outing myself as a 0.0 carebear now)
we often do complex, exploration and escalation stuff (nice x-type loot tbh!)
i am usualy tanking the plex with 1 damnation and 2 guardians (thats no dps at all but nice because of gangmod bonuses and the option to go into pvp with the group)
and meanwhile some paladins with nice dps fitting.
..whatever
the t3 ships with tank-style fitting are more flexible then a damnation and for commin wormwhole action we need some ships who realy tank a lot lot lot dps
since sleepers are more like fighting gms then rats ;P lol
they popped a kronos with 2 support carriers with a 3x-bs spawn.. they mostly web / point everything thats in range and do every dmg type.. so tanking them out
will be more effective then just get one main tank and bust them all since thats not gonna work thanks to "new ai options" wich is crap .. you can totaly abuse the new ai
system by overtanking one logistic ship getting repped by some bs, the logistic will be primary whatever he remote reps or not lol..
okay i totaly lost my line by writing this post because of my co workers next to me -_- moar.. have to go back to work lol sry (emoragequit!! xD)

Who took what? out of whom? where? and when?

if i was meant, yep i asked if it was THE boxtorrent chat in eve, because, ... yeah, the channel has no MotD its just called section 11.
how is one supposed to know if it is the right channel.

the chan needs a MotD seriously, it would make the channel a lot nicer.
and maybe some flowers and nice curtains with red hearts on it.
then again, maybe not.
but a MotD is needed nice coloured and sized fonts. Something to welcome you warmly.

Eve is dark enough. we need moar heartwarming channels. *cries*

anyway if whoever is the creator of that chan is too lazy to make a MotD, make me mod, i'll take the courage and endure the work to make a nice MotD.

hehe, my guess is that the game will be unplayable for atleast 1 week

(Judging from test server bugs..)

i guess it doesnt.
2 things i'm really looking forward to, that could be kewl for you too, are:
# the long awaited 24h skill-q_q
# and it will be possible to rearrange attribute points once every year or so.
I'm waiting for the dev-blog and the patch notes, to reassure what will acually be changed.
t3 stuff aint that intersting for me, despite the possible profit.

as in the old saying: never play on patchday. (and usually until one week after, till they bugfix the patch)
concerning MotD: Roger *salutes*
concerning Net: hmm you should marry it. that usually has an effect of decreasing the interval and severity.^^

are you mining? mission running? invention? research? ratting? ganking? are you a hired merc?

is it even worth it? how's the graphics and gameplay and interface?
