Well it started back in high school, my sophmore year, in my drama class, we had to do these skits and I thought up the name Tayjena (just cause I liked how tay and jena sound put together). My group decided that all our character should have a different religion background and I got the Wiccan (which may be way the following I switched from atheist to wiccan in RL after doing all the research for the char). Anyway, in the skit we were in a old hotel and we all start being killed off and of course I was the main suspect but in the end I got trapped in the elevator with the Catholic and died. The catholic did it all with the reasoning that we because of our religious views weren't good enough.

After that I used the name for other school plays, and writings for creative writing classes, english and spanish.

It kinda became my alter-ego though I began to embody that orinigal person I created more and more. I don't even think anyone outside my family still calls me by my real name and if they knew how much I had my real name they wouldn't do it.

But I like it and use it for almost everything now.

I wish I could get a name change.. >_> For some reason the nicks I use for anime/manga/gaming are all different. And the anime (Annonymous) one is getting boring.

I did a nick change recently, check out this topic for information:

Uhm... My sister is vegetarian and I thought to use something opposite. Carnivore was mostly taken, so after a small wordplay I ended to use Carnaga for many years. Thought commonly people misspell it to "Carnage". About one and half years ago, I decided to go with other/new nick, wich would be somehow samiliar to previous one. "Car" from the original and "niska" for addition.

Btw. "niska" is Finnish word wich stands for "neck" :)

Now for my explanation.

My real username that I use for game names and what not is "Excalever". People say I misspelled "Excalibur" but I purposely spelled it the way I wanted it to be.
I created this name 6 years ago and I heard the word "Excalibur", it sounded neat and what not. I later learned it was a named after a sword so I wanted to take the
person who wielded the sword so I created a name for the wielder, "Excalever". I later shortened it to "Excale" to username preference since it was shorter to type. My
list goes on as I later made more accounts so I place most/all of my online names with the "Ex" in front of it. Only thing I never use it on is a real word and "Excalibur"/"Excalibir".

Well, when i was in a foster home, there was a douchebag rebel who always did funny (but not always in the best of moral interests..) called Travis. Well, aside from that random fact, he happened to have alot of women he'd fool around with..So he called himself PimpT. In the foster home, once i arrived, there were three travis..es? living under the same household. I was the youngest there, Travis..forget his last name, was 18, the foster parent musta been like..40..And i was 15, So it was BigPimpT, PimpT, And LilPimpT (me)..It's a name i've stuck with for many years, if not because women online are usually rather lonely, then because when given the chance without risk of trouble, i can be a real douchebag, myself..Though i flame, troll, and such mind you, in the end i usually make good friends with the person, because i do it to be funny, not to be malicious..So that's why the T. Lil cause i was the youngest of three, Pimp because (well, to me) i'm good with women, and T because I'm travis and travis..whatever was a douchebag =P (personally i hate Travis, i find it bland.) Sorry for the retardedly long post.

well I have had two nicknames.. (this and previous)

1) Chilly gel: this was my first nickname.. the idea came from FF Chrystal Cronicles (for CameCube).. there was this "ingredient" called Chilly gel, and I thought "hey thats a nice name.. How it would match for nickname?" and bang.. I used it

2) Goroshi-sama: well later on I got bored to old "Chilly gel" and thought I really would like to have another.. After I found out that its possible to change nickname ONCE here on BBT. well I thought long time what would be good. and then I ended up to "Goroshi-sama".. Well what I have heard from some animes they shout "gorosh" or something like that and ended up to use it with additon of "-sama".

But when I now check my nickname, damn I wish I could change it to something else.. The other idea came from while I was watching Higurashi, I just liked it and wanted to something cool.

If I could have one more chance to change my name, it would be eather Onii-chan or Terra.. Also I've started to register as those or chilly gel but definitely not anymore as "Goroshi-sama". I think its just japanese-learner's-typical-typo-error-name.. :S

they see me rollin', they hatin'..

Deucal my forum nick: Back in 1995 I started using the MSN chat boards. Needed a nick....  Was at my fathers office and on his wall was a very old 16th century copy of  Map of Iceland, in the upper right corner there it was "Deucale". Lost the "e" 2 years later through a typo  ::)

Daylanor my gaming nick: I made it for WoW (back when it was launched) the first online game I got suckered into. Spent like 2 hours combining sci-fi book titles until I came with this one. 3 years later I finally googled this nick....seems it's a seedy little town in Afghanistan of all places  :D
But I like it so I use it as my sole game nick :).

hmmmmmmm....

My real name is William and not a lot of people liked saying the whole thing. They either shorten it to Will or three years ago, Wii.
I played with the word and came up with a couple of nicknames. Some were like WiiLee, WiiD, Wii-Lee-Yum. After a week of Wii-Lee-Yum i went to Rii-Lee-Yum-Mii. Since it was too long, I shortened it to WiiLeeYum only. In fear of people stealing my name I put WiiLeeYum™, so HA! I have been using that nickname ever since, every other site and account. You can try to get into my account but you'll never know my password =P

No its not a kind of drug ¬¬
Anyway XD [1st post ever on this forum for me o.o] I needed a nickname because i was annoyed to see 'that name is taken' or whatever ×× So i just made up some word out of nothing, which was asterondroine O.O, i dont know how i came up with that but it was from endorphin and a other word i made up before that. Asterondroine was too long obviously so i deleted letters and added some and Endroine came out. I thought it was kinda original but a few days ago i saw some spanish girl on facebook when i was trying to search my own profile for some reason i forgot, blahblah endroine elenora blahblah something ;_; me not likey ;____;
So basically my nickname doesnt make sense at all.

Believe it or not, but 'midhras' actually has a meaning in Quenya or Sindarin or at least some Elven tongue. Try to find out, if you can. This was not by design mind you!

Actually, midhras is somewhat of a bastardization of Mithras, a Roman war god. I preferred the softer -dh to the harsher -th (this is because I was influenced by Tolkienesque nomenclature (e.g. Caradhras). Mithras was revered by Roman soldiers, and likes to slaughter bulls. Which is fierce!
You may, if you like, refer to me as Sol Invictus or Unconquerable Sun. I dig that.

Also, the figure of Jesus is thought to be modelled after Mithras. But Jesus has nothing on me.
