well, "dale" is actually my real name, and "goa" comes from a style of music called "goa trance" (which in turn is named from the city in India in which it originated). That was pretty much all I listened to back when I first came up with this name, and since I made that my nickname or username pretty much everywhere already, I use it for every new site I come across if it isn't taken (thankfully it usually isn't), even though my choice in music is much more eclectic now.
